Diego Granese is an Italian Architect and Designer who lives and works in Salerno, Italy.
In 2000 he founded the Granese Architecture and Design Studio, an interdisciplinary design studio providing Architecture and design services for a selective clientele.
In 2009 in conjunction with fellow Architects he formed METROSTUDIO a design and consulting firm specialising in services for the Chinese market.
Numerous awards and prizes have been won by Diego Granese including:
– 1 st prize in the Professional category “XXI Concurso Internacional de diseño cDIM “in Valencia Spain;
– Selection at ARCO International Art Exhibition – Contemporary Madrid, ADI index, BIO 19, BIO 20,
– “Honorable Mention” in the XX Compasso d’Oro;
– Winner of the “CERSAIE Award 2009” with the Company Antiche Fornaci d’Agostino.
In 2010, the Design Museum in Nuremberg, Germany presented an exhibition devoted to Diego Granese and Mark Newson. The Exhibition titled “TWOPLUSTWO” featured works from numerous collections such as “Collezione Storica del Compasso d’Oro” and the Museum “Pinakotec der Moderne” of Monaco of Bavaria in Germany.
He currently has several projects under construction in Architecture and interior design in Italy and abroad as well as providing consultation to international companies in the field of Industrial design.
